【摘要】:Thissectionalspecificationcoversmulti-elementcablessuitableforconnectinginstrumentsandcontrolsystemsforanalogueordigitalsignaltransmission.Theymayormaynotbescreenedandoptionallymayincorporatearmouringand/ormoistureorenvironmentalprotectionlayers.Thecablesshallhaveamechanicallyrobustconstructionandelectricaltransmissionhandlingproperties.Theelectrical,mechanical,transmissionandenvironmentalperformancecharacteristicsofthecables,relatedtotheirreferencetestmethodsaredetailed.ThissectionalspecificationistobereadinconjunctionwithEN50288-1,whichcontainstheessentialprovisionsforitsapplication.Cablescoveredbythisspecificationhavemaximumratedvoltagesof90V,300Vand500Va.c.Thesecablesshallnotbeconnecteddirectlytomainselectricitysupplyorotherlowimpedancesources.Multi-elementcablesforuseinanalogue,digitalandcontrolcircuitsarenotdesignedtobeusedforpowersupply.Thesecablesshouldbeinstalledinaccordancewiththeapplicablelocalandnationalregulations.Cablesintendedtohavelimitedcircuitintegrityinafirearenotcoveredbythisspecification,buttheyarehoweverunderconsiderationforfutureeditions.TheremaybeoccasionswhencablesarerequiredtohavehigheroperatingtemperatureratingsthanthoseprovidedbyusingmaterialsspecifiedbytheEN50290series.Suitablealternativematerialsareunderconsideration.
