【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationdescribesproductscomposedofdenseelastomericsiliconerubberthatarefabricatedintogasketsandaccessories(suchassettingblocks,spacers,andshims)foruseinsealingandglazingapplicationsinbuildingconstruction.Theseproductsareusedtosealorserveascomponentsofcompressionsealingsystemsbetweenmechanicallyrestrainedsurfacesinbuildingconstructionandalsoascomponentsinstructuralsiliconesealantglazingsystems.1.2Thevaluesstatedinmetric(SI)unitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Theinch-poundvaluesgiveninparenthesesareprovidedforinformationpurposesonly.1.3TestMethodC1166,asreferencedinthisspecification,shouldbeusedtomeasureanddescribethepropertiesofmaterials,products,orassembliesinresponsetoheatandflameundercontrolledlaboratoryconditionsandshouldnotbeusedtodescribeorappraisethefirehazardorfireriskofmaterials,products,orassembliesunderactualfireconditions.However,resultsofthistestmaybeusedaselementsofafireriskassessmentthattakesintoaccountallofthefactorswhicharepertinenttoanassessmentofthefirehazardofaparticularenduse.Thefollowingprecautionarystatementpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section10,ofthisspecification.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.1.4Thecommitteewithjurisdictionoverthisstandardisnotawareofanycomparablestandardspublishedbyotherorganizations.
